Adam is determined to always strive for excellence by making every frame extraordinary. Adam’s long form documentaries are award winning, including the Cine Golden eagle award in 2004 for “The True Face of Hurricanes,” a National Geographic film and two Webby Awards in 2006 for the Geonographic Project, also with the National Geographic Society. Most recently, Adam was the Cinematographer on the independent short film “Library of Dust,” which won best picture at Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival (TCFF), and also won best picture at The Seattle International Film Festival- (SIFF) qualifying the short for an Academy Award nomination in 2011.
Adam’s recent commercial work with advertising agency J.Walter Thompson for Zyrtec, and the Cramer Krasselt agency for Porsche and Harley Davidson is currently airing nationally. Adam’s cinematography has been featured on The National Geographic Channel, including Inside the Pentagon, Test Pilots, Mission Rescue, Bull Riders, Super Carriers, Tornado Intercept, The True Face of Hurricanes, Drowning New Orleans, Grizzly: Face to Face and most recently, new programming for the A&E Network.
For over a decade, Adam has also been a disaster photographer and emergency response official for FEMA, and has responded to natural disasters and terrorist attacks including hurricane Katrina and 9-11. Adam’s work has been published in over 70 countries, and he has been a Director of Photography for top documentary directors such as Ondi Timoner- Cool It, and The Library of Dust; as well as commercial directors Alex Turvey- Cisco, and Justin Lee- Zyrtec.
